as a realist artist it'd be nice to see someone do a terminator with realist body proportions... if his head is really that size, and his arms are really in the terminator armored arms... well then his shoulders would be torn out of his sockets and pulled out a few inches wider... and it could all be solved just by making the body narrower... anyboby agree?
this pic is still badass though, everytime i look at a terminator i just pretend it's a head attached to a robot
yeah, but the arm and such... especially with the range of motion they need... it would be hard to put the arms anywhere in the armor's arms... just because of the width of the torso... your shoulders would still be like 70 percent inside the chest piece, which doesnt work well when the armor's arms have articulating shoulders outside of the chest piece... im not worried about it tho, again badass pic
You are talking about a superhuman with at least 2 - 1.5 x the body proportions of the most fit human male. If you look at the armor and then the man within it (i.e. broad shoulders, long limbs, tremendous muscle structure, and a rib cage that holds two hearts and three lungs) this armor actually fits them like a glove.
By all standards, Michael is slightly slimmer then the average Primarch (a little detail that DeV got right with my char, I'm proud to say) so, yes. The proportions would look more plausible.
eh, well then atleast make the head closer to the shoulderline... his neck -length- is still proportionate to his superbuff body, while his head sized has remained normal... eh... it may make sense but i dont like it artistically, prefer the standard human form... grey knight marines are a fav of mine, but the old metal reiklanders ins full plate are the best... and check out these heavy foot knights from the wargames foundry, [link] they're at the bottom of this page, basically your classic gothic knights but with a little bit of buffness... this is how i think armor should be, fitting to a normal human body... although the GW armor is cool in it's own way
