I think this is your best primarch piece, easily. I admit that I'm not the biggest fan of the Ultramarines but that's more Matt Ward's fault than anything for making them, for lack of a better word, "Mary sues" but I do like some individual astertes in their ranks, and that includes their primarch. He was a tactical genius, an excellent leader, and an admirable fighter, I mean the guy held his own against the red angel, not an easy feat by anyone's standards.
Awesome artwork, the details are mind blowing and I love the use of imperial iconography.
beautyfull ! the only matter is that... roboute doesn't have gloves.... these are Marneus ones... ( stolen from some chaos champion ... mhhh... heretic materials on a loyalist hero ... that's wierd... )
Actualy: The Gauntlets of Ultramar are two mighty Power Fists with incorporated Bolters that were reclaimed from a fallen Chaos champion, slain during the Gamalia Reclusiam Massacre by the Primarch of the Ultramarines, Roboute Guilliman himself
An awesome take on Guilliman! I love the shape and design for the torso armor. And I ESPECIALLY like the work you did on the Fists of Ultramar. The cracks, the joint and panel detail on the digits, they really make him look fantastic!
the thing is, the only feature that can be identified for Roboute Guilliman IS the power fist + bolter, there isnt a whole lot of reference pics on him, so the only thing i definitely know he does possess are the gauntlets of ultramar.
i plan to leave Vulkan till later doing Lion El'johnson right now
Oh, I didn't know the gauntlets were guilliman's, I thought they were crafted some other time, later. Never mind. Also, good luck with lion, one of my friends has built himself a figure of him so I'm hoping he's even cooler than that.
you should do some research on space marines, their shoulderpads often extend above their heads. And they're meant to be ALOT larger than a normal human, and as u know as a normal human grows through their lifetime their heads take up less and less space in terms of proportions
ah, this is from warhammer, now i get it ok, your proportions are all right. what i was tying to tell you was actually that the warhammer space marine suits aren't realistic in proportion. but who cares, this is science fiction ^^
